Jenna is passionate about ensuring every client feels heard and seen. She works from a solution-oriented approach and believes in considering the ways each individual is affected by societal norms and conditions. Jenna serves adults and adolescents experiencing addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She uses elements of feminist therapy, person centered therapy, and CBT (Cognitive BehavioralTherapy.) Jenna works to help clients change their unhealthy patterns and ways of thinking, moving towards viewing themselves and the world through a healthy lens. Jenna has worked in a variety of settings including a psychiatric hospital, residential treatment for mental health, and addiction treatment at the PHP and IOP level.
As an Associate Professional Counselor, Jenna is practicing under the clinical direction of Sarah Howell Valeriay, LPC (GA# LPC010857) and is directly supervised by Kendra Gilbert, LPC, CPCS (GA# LPC04119). Kendra Gilbert can be reached at 678-371-7357. When she is not at work, Jenna spends her time with her dog, in nature, reading, or spending time with her family, especially her new nieces and nephews.
