Elise’s passion in life is to help others live a healthy, hopeful, and emotionally balanced life through professional counseling. She highly values the power of the therapeutic relationship and has an authentic ability to meet clients where they are. She believes individuals can best grow when they are in an environment of genuineness, acceptance and empathy. Elise is committed to providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere, where clients of all ages can explore the challenges they are facing. She uses a combination of techniques, drawing from attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based and client-centered techniques to meet her clients where they are and walk with them through the process of creating positive change.

She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples to address a wide range of needs including: anxiety, depression, life adjustment, learning disabilities, past traumas, and grief. As an Associate Professional Counselor, Elise is under the direct supervision of Sue Foster, MS, EdS, LPC (GA# LPC001926).
